The Joy of Sports Class in English
Imagine a gym brimming with laughter, sprinting feet, and… English chatter? That’s our sports class! Instead of monotonous drills, we fuse physical activity with language learning—turning the gym into a playground for both bodies and brains. No stuffy textbooks here; just sweat, smiles, and sentences!

Warm-up Games with a Twist
Every session kicks off with warm-ups, but ours are spicy. Our teacher yells commands in English: “Jump high! Spin left! Hop like a kangaroo!” At first, chaos reigns—some hop when they should spin, others freeze mid-jump. But soon, giggles fill the air as we nail “squat” and “stretch.” Last week, Mia tried to “fly” instead of “run,” and now it’s our go-to inside joke! 🤣

Team Challenges and Laughter
Next up: team games—soccer, relay races, even “English charades.” For soccer, we yell “Pass!” or “Goal!” while dribbling. In relays, we scream “Go faster!” to teammates. During charades last month, Leo acted out “basketball”—but he mimed throwing a ball up, not through a hoop. We still cheered (and cackled) because his energy was contagious!
Beyond the Game: Language Wins
By the end, we’re sweaty and smarter. We’ve mastered words like “dribble,” “teamwork,” and “celebrate”—all while having a blast. Even shy classmates speak up when cheering for friends. Sports class isn’t just exercise; it’s where English feels alive. Who knew running could make you love vocabulary?
So next time you hit the gym, try shouting “High five!” in English. You might just score a goal—for your language skills! 🏃♂️📚

(P.S. The image below shows us mid-relay race, grinning as we shout English commands—proof that fitness + fluency = fun!)
